They always have fresh ingrediants and the staff is friendly. The margaritas are very strong, so watch out!

Simply the best service, very refreshing to get good service in South Florida. The tacos are also great. Lime is highly recommended A++++++

This place is awesome! Food is always very fresh and very fast! I come here a lot when I can't decide what to eat. The burritos are yummy, tacos are tasty, and the quesadillas aren't half bad either!!!

Middle of the road burrito place. Very similar to Moe's Southwest Grill, slightly better. Good salsa bar. The burritos themselves are a bit smaller (they are no Chipotle). The meats were better than Moe's/Qdoba though. Is guacamole even an option here? I couldn't find it. Overall, I'd pop in for a quick nom, but wouldn't go out of my way or crave it like I do Chipotle.

Just stopped on for the first time, I asure you this will NOT be the last time. AWESOME FOOD, the STAFF IS AWESOME as well. Walked and in and was greated by this super friendly girl that explained everything to us (wish I had gotten her name) She came out to see how we were doing, told her everything was GREAT, there CLASSIC GUAC. Is every bit as good, if not better than a place on Las Olas that we enjoy. The Asst.MNGR. Aaron Rick stop to check on us as well, Super nice guy. I will recommend this place to all my friends, keep up the good work guys, thank you for an OUTSTANDING LUNCH, AND EXPERIENCE.

Used to have organic chicken...key phrase "used to". When I asked the manager why they got rid of it his response was "a lot of people complained that it was too dry and it just wasn't popular enough" really?!?! Hmmm chipotle seemed to get it right and ummm they seem to always have a line out the door. I would have much rather a more honest response like "we haven't been able to find a good supplier" or "it just wants economical for us"...he gave such a BS answer

First time at lime. Have they ever heard of salt? The food was very bland. Even the queso had no zip or flavor. The queso was cold and sticky instead of hot and creamy. I don't think anyone here tastes the food. They have a great cashier that sold me on the menu. I had the taco salad and like I said no flavor. They didn't tell me about the salsa bar and didn't see it on the menu until I sat down and looked around - that might have helped. All the menu items come with ice cold flavorless pico de gallo. Don't think I'll be back with the choices in the immediate neighborhood and new places opening down by Oakland park blvd.

This place had a special. $2 original tacos wed thurs friday from 4-7. Lucky us. I love deals. So we ordered 3 tacos and the fajita chicken beef combo. Each dish came with bottomless chips and a salsa bar. There was 8 different salsas for you to mix and match! The beef was better than the chicken in the fajitas. The grilled onions and grilled green peppers were sizzling hot with cooked perfection! The steak was cooked well, a wee bit salty but tasty. The chicken was a bit rubbery and chewy. As for the tacos i got the beef in a hard shell corn shell. It also came with lettuce sour cream cheddar cheese and pico de gio. This place offered a plathera of hot sauces ranging in mild to atomically hot....nice. Overall good place.

My partner loves this place and has been trying to get me to go for awhile. Wow!! SO IMPRESSED!! I had the steak and queso taco - it was delicious!! It was so fresh and flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy, and all of the ingredients really complimented each other well. My favorite part was their salsa bar - all of their salsas are made there and it includes fresh cut cilantro and limes for garnishment, too. The mango one was amazing. They also have a ton of different hot sauces that you can try. Loved the clean, fresh combo of flavors!!! The staff was excellent as well - great people - spot on!! Will absolutely be back!!!

My mom and I were extremely hungry after a long day of travel, so we decided to stop by this place. While the service was really nice and they had a really cool salsa bar, it was really just another "fast" food chain. I told the cashier that I had dairy and meat allergies (to make being vegan a little more amplified). He was really helpful, and let me make my own burrito. (On their menu, it even says that they are vegetarian friendly!) I was so hungry, so I decided to get a burrito which I never usually do. I found some pork in it, which made me feel horrible. The burrito was not refreshing, and didn't taste fresh at all. This place- nothing special and not really vegan/veggie friendly after all.

I already know that taco snobs may not rate a chain like Lime high up on their list of authentic Mexican food. That's ok though cause that's not what I'm here to do. I think it's also clear that authentic is not what they're trying to pull off. I enjoy the atmosphere at Lime. It's spacious , clean, well lit with ample seating for solo dolos like me or with a big group of people. The service has always been friendly and efficient. The food comes out quick and tastes great. I come for the fish tacos and I recommend having them how I like them: grilled, add fajita veggies on soft corn tortillas with pineapple salsa and maybe some garlic hot sauce or Blind Betty's orange hot sauce. Yesssss God! The moisture from the fish will damage the precious hard taco shell taco so just don't do it. I don't really get anything else on the menu here. I like to keep it light. No fuss restaurant in my opinion. Better service than Zona, Chipotle and others up the street.

This was one of the places we would stop for a quick bite after the beach for a burrito or fajitas, it feels like it's declining as confirmed by our experience last night. We went in Friday about 9:30, near closing time. We both ordered the Big Cali Burrito, one naked as a bowl. They both were disappointing. The only thing warm in them was the scant amount of finely diced chicken pieces. The rice was cold and clumpy, as if it had been taken off the warmer an hour before in anticipation of closing. They offered to remake the burrito with hot black beans instead of black bean salsa, it came out warm and pressed on all four sides, an improvement. I ate the burrito bowl as I was starving. The staff was nice enough except for half of them let out an audible boo when four guys walked in 10 minutes till close. They left and missed out on a cold experience.

Lime is amazing!! Me and my boyfriend have eaten here at least 30 times since moving to south Florida. We've gotten the chicken queso burrito bowl every single time and it's soooo good! Our favorite restaurant down here by far to grab a quick bite to eat!

I went in with a coupon for a buy one get one free taco. If you go before 7pm on Wed-Fri the tacos are $2. I ordered the ground beef and steak corn shell tacos. They come with cheese, tomato, and lettuce. At the salsa bar, they have a great variety of salsas including pineapple/jalapenos and black beans/corn. The staff is friendly and cleans up your table when you are done. There is a self serve drink stand. I would definitely go back.

Things have changed at Lime - and not for the better. I used to be a huge Lime fan (see my 11/2012 review) - I keep rooting for you guys but each time I visit recently hoping to re-live a little nostalgia I leave more disappointed each time. My most recent visit was Tuesday evening at 9:30, I realize Lime closes at 10 but didn't expect my meal to be ice cold. Further, my burrito that normally comes with re-fried beans had none. I ended up only eating 1/2 the burrito and left. Step up your game, guys!

  • Anne B.

We are (or should I say were) frequent diners here the past two years. Today was our last visit. We ordered our meals, plus one bottle of water, one margarita. The music was playing so loud that the cashier had to lean across the counter to repeat the order. We asked one of the staff if they would turn the music down just a bit so we could at least carry on a conversation. The margaritas were not ready yet. We paid for it, so asked for our money back. Between the loud music, and asking for our money back, we were treated as if we were a royal pain and not customers wanted here. The woman behind the salsa counter was busier playing with her cell phone than worrying about the condiments. We liked coming here as the food is fresh, although average in taste, service is fast. But, the eardrum breaking music and apathy of the staff has ensured no repeat visits.

Not only did the staff throw together some really good vegan tacos, they did so right at close and were gracious and helpful and just plain nice! Thanks for helping two very hungry women out! Good food, good people!

Let me start by saying I moved here a few years ago from S. California (the land of Mexican fast food). The wife and I were looking for a quick bite and stopped here for some Mexican. The experience was not good. Overlooking the cute but "not so smart cashier", who couldn't seem to get our order right, we set the pace for a horrible experience. The steak in the fajitas was overcooked and tasted steamed or microwaved. It possibly sat in the steamer tray for hours? The onions and peppers making up the balance of my fajitas were also steamed to death, limp, tasteless and inedible. I give this place one star for the managers effort to make the mistakes in the cashiers incorrectly handling of the order, correct. He did make an effort, but it just couldn't come close to erasing the rubbery tough meat they call steak. Not a grill mark on that steak, just brown through and through with no sear on the outside and limp, dead, soggy vegetables. Decent salsa bar (for a Florida Mexican style restaurant) but when you put the word "FRESH" in your name, something should have been fresh? Unfortunately this place, (although the management effort seemed to be there) did not execute on the all important food aspects. As I see there are people who have given this restaurant four and five stars, I can only assume they have never experienced a real Mexican Restaurant, and feel it's better than the frozen stuff you may find at Publix? (maybe?) This is not Mexican food, unfortunately. I recommend someone from this restaurant go to El Pollo Loco or Baha Fresh in S. California to experience this type of fast food done correctly, and use those places as a standard to improve their presentation, preparation and delivery of a superior product.

I thought it was pretty good. We actually tried to go to Zona Fresca first, which is right up the street, but their parking lot was so busy we abandoned that mission. It's very casual, but you can still grab a beer here. They have tacos, burritos, your typical Mexican fair, a huge salsa bar, and a lot of hot sauce. They also have outside seating. In addition, they have some healthy options like no tortilla at all or low fat re-fried beans. The manager came over and asked how our food was and actually took away our plates. So rare this happens anymore. It was better than Chipotle for me :) so if that helps you make your decision.

I'm long overdue to write a review for one of my favorite local bites. I'm a very picky vegetarian and every time I walk in the door the staff is not only friendly, but they also know exactly what my order is. The place is always clean, the salsa bar is always full and the food is always great. Kudos. A+

Within recent years the market for tacos and Mexican food in Fort Lauderdale has become extraordinarily competitive not only amongst the chain establishments but also between the more familiar private, family and food truck operators. Unfortunately, to my mind, Lime Fresh doesn't measure up very well in comparison to rest. Their complementary salsas, though indeed fresh, seem are without luster or are otherwise downright lacking in decent flavor. In facct their "Verde" only reminded me of the flavor I tasted after falling into Lake Okeechobee surfacing with a mouth full of swamp water, green algae and duck weed. Another thing I found annoying is their background music. I know, we all have different tastes, but cross mixes between red neck country and industrial disco just don't blend well with what is supposedly a Mexican or American Chain Mexican dinning experience. Fortunately, they have a splendid offering of various sauces (even a Georgia Peach & Vidalia Onion) that, though certainly anything but Mexican, prove helpful. What I do like about the Lime Fresh is being able to place your order, not having to stand in line waiting for it, directly take a seat having your order delivered to your table. Given the wide variety and competitive nature of the market, my opinion is that there are a lot better choices as well as better values than Lime Fresh.

I love LIME on North Federdal Highway. I go there all the time for my frozen Sangritas and burrito. The employees are always awesome...very pleasant and super professional - which makes me keep coming back. Today though was different. I had an especially stressful day at work and decided to get myself a Sangrita. I was served by my usual sweet young lady at the cash, who I always think is super professional and engagingl. As I was waiting for my food, I noticed how the manager on shift 'Aaron' was treating his employees. He was a dictator, and completely dis-respectful towards them. As I am a GM myself and know how to treat my employees, I would never be little anyone...especially when there are customer is plain sight. I did mention to him I was watching him, and did not approve of his dealings with employees. I also mentioned that his employees are his biggest assests and should be treated with respect in order for the business to grow and continue. Again, I come to LIME on a regular basis and love the staff, They have always been super professional and engaging. They do not deserve to be treated the way I witnessed today. If this keeps up, LIME Fort Lauderdale may loose their staff, and that would be a shame. This Manager 'Aaron' should be trained professionally on how to interact with his employees in order to gain the best positive outcome. Upper Management, please work on this for the benefit of the amazing staff.

Always clean environment, well maintained and well staffed. Staff is always friendly and management is good. Fresh ingredients and rather well developed flavors in the dishes! Mid assume that almost all of there sauces, salsas and salad dress bugs are made fresh on premises. I absolutely love the Carnitas Steak Salad! Straight up addicted!

Tasty food. Great salsa bar. Always clean and welcoming staff. The only downfall to me is that there salads are just iceberg lettuce with a few toppings... Kinda plain. Also there guacamole comes in such a small cup.... But overall for the price and the freshness its pretty great... Hopefully they will update there salads...

All Limes are not created equal!!! Oh boy, where do I begin? First the menu is different than any other lime we have eaten at. The fish tacos are served with lettuce instead of cabbage and the sauce is a spicy ranch, instead of the cilantro sauce we're used to. But that's okay, we were still willing to try them out. The tacos came out and immediately we could tell the fish was not fresh! Ugh, we still took a bite and regret it right away. The other thing, is that they do not have the Hot sauce in the sauce bar, thank goodness they had cilantro and lime wedges. On the plus side- they carry Marie Sharpes hot sauces (they're from Belize) AMAZING!!

Stopped in here for lunch today and we loved it! We were really looking for something more like a restaurant and not quite like a fast food place, but since we were starving we decided to give it a shot. And we were not disappointed! The steak tacos were awesome and the queso dip was delicious. The place was clean, and the service was fast and friendly. Plus they sell beer (which is awesome because were not from around here so were pleasantly surprised! )

Decent, fresh tex-mex food at a good value. The chipotle suave sauce and the verde salsa are the best offerings on their ample salsa bar. As good as I've had at the Limes in Miami. The Monday burrito special - combo with drink for $5.99 - is a good way to start off the week. Chicken Cali burrito, Cantina Salad, and the black bean vegetarian burrito were filling and fresh. It's a better choice than Tijuana Flats or Whole Enchilada. Beware the Habanero sauce. It's pure heat. My wife made the mistake of pouring it onto her salad. She actually finished it, although not before shedding a lot of chili- induced tears. Beverage selection included Mr Pibb. Always a plus.

Great food! Strong margaritas! Everything is fresh and the place is kept very clean. Also, the staff is very nice and the food comes out quickly. Only issue is that it is a bit costly, but worth it!

STRONG Margaritas!!! Awesome food. Short wait. More than reasonable prices. Salsa is great. Love the burritos. Quesadillas are awesome. The Margs are the highlight (only come frozen though). What more could you ask for?? Oh, maybe a TV with sportscenter.

We live nearby and frequent this location and have NEVER been disappointed. Last night as they were wrapping up, I stopped by on my way home from work and John and the ENTIRE late night crew were beyond hospitable! They were so incredibly kind to take care of me as they were closing and of course the food was delicious as always. My kuddos to the staff! THANK YOU! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK :)

For a person who doesn't usually eat Mexican food, and spicy in particular, I can honestly say I rather enjoyed my experience over there. My brother in law took me to Lime which is right on the US1, very convenient to all Fort Lauderdale residents. Took myself fajitas which is basically make your own fat burrito. Very nice place so thought I should share. Four stars for this one.

This used to be my "go to" restaurants until they changed their menu items. They still make certain things upon request. BUT they no longer carry plain rice. They use cilantro rice instead. I guess they don't know the statistic that 25% of the world population detest cilantro.

  • Kara K.

We were greeted when we walked into the door and the guy at the counter was really helpful, even offering me a sample of the frozen sangria (which was way taster than I expected!). I ordered the 3 taco meal, two chicken and one ground beef. My meal came with chips and a fountain drink. I received 2 beef tacos and one chicken. When we said something they brought us another taco, without reservation. The salsa bar really offers a salsa for every taste preference. There were at least 6 different salsas to choose from ranging from mild to moderately spicy. The regular salsa was more flavorful than your typical Mexican restaurant salsa and probably one of the best salsas I've ever had and it had zero heat. They have a large selection of bottled hot sauces. I tried Lime's own brand of hot sauce called Char and it was GREAT - definitely not for people that can't take the heat. The chicken taco was really good. It had cubes of moist marinated chicken that were tender. The ground beef tacos were flavored just like taco's you'd make at home but were leaps and bounds ahead of anything Taco Bell could ever dream of. The soda machine offerings were typical but the tea is great with sweet, unsweetened black and slightly sweetened green. With the great service and the good food, we will definitely be back.

The only complaint would but be they need better chips. Love the taco salad and the staff is friendly and aware. Love it!

Really enjoyed a steak burrito here today plenty of meat I really like how they grill the burrito once it is made. Lots of choice at the salsa bar I was impressed by it. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the chips they were way over salted, we are talking a layer of salt coated each chip. This will not stop me from going back. This place kills Chipotle.

We went for lunch : I had a salad and my husband tacos... We both found it was not that good, not a real good Mexican taste. Price are affordable and people are kind but we also did not like the terrace (totally noisy with the road).

Ohhhh I hate to do this, you can look at all my reviews and tell I love me some Lime...but this location needs to get it together. I went the other day and the chicken was not it, like it had been left on grill too long, and then sat around, and then they put it on my taco. I was so dissappointed. Then the other day, I asked for raw onions on my taco, like I always do. The smart ass cook, or dumb ass cook, or whatever you want to call him, takes LARGE pieces of onion, like long pieces thick pieces the length of a finger, and places them all at the BOTTOM of my taco. When I got my taco the food runner was kind enough to ask if everything was ok. I was like "no actually, who eats a taco like this?" as I'm pulling the onion pieces out. She apologizes, looks like she goes to tell the manager, and he doesn't care. I could be wrong maybe she didn't tell him about my issue. Either way I had an issue and really did not enjoy my taco or experience. Like can I at least get a knife to cut up these monterous pieces of onion you've placed at the bottom of my taco? The sad thing is it was the busiest I have ever seen the place, but it still wasn't BUSY BUSY. Like if thats what you call a rush and you can't handle that little crowd, this position isn't for you.

Ft. Laudy location has the best selection of sauces. I specifically like the one with pineapples. Burritos come with chips which is great unlike the competitors.

After having a not so positive experience here, I returned after being contacted with an apology by the manager. This time the food was good, order was correct, salsas were fresh and I received friendly service. Fun atmosphere, and delicious, strong frozen margaritas. Not the best mexi food in town (tons of competition), but I will certainly return.

  • Ja L.

I absolutely love this place. I go here at least once a month if not more. The staff is amazing, some can be hit or miss but that is normal around businesses that are located in the tourist locations. Most of the time, the owner/boss is around greeting people as they walk by to get salsa and insure things are running smooth. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who just wants an up passed restaurant with a calm environment.

  • Sal G.

I stopped in after having eaten at Zona Fresca to see how Lime compared. I ordered a Carne Asada taco minus the cheese sauce. I tried the sauce ahead of time and couldn't get past how nasty it tasted; it was anything but fresh. Overall, the taco didn't taste bad, but no part of the taco or the salsa tasted fresh. In fact, the meat tasted a tad over-marinated to my palate. I could eat here again without an issue, but I would never choose Lime Fresh Mexican Grill if I had Zona Fresca as an option.

i ate there once with a coupon...buy one get one free, sadley i got food poisoning. isolated incident i am sure, but with mexican places on every block serving and claiming fresh mexican grill , i'll be in no rush to go back.

Waitstaff is nice. Queso is decent. Fish tacos with low carb tortillas are good after drinking. The girl at the register recommended a queso burrito. The burrito was so bland and was like eating paper minus the flavor.

I stopped into Lime Fresh Mexican Grill for an early dinner and to kill some time before an event I was attending down the street. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered a Lime burrito and a couple of beers. Since it was happy hour, I got two for the price of one. The burrito was very good and the beers were cold. I can see myself coming back to Lime soon.

Although I haven't compared this to other "Lime" locations, I feel like this one is very good. My husband and I frequent it weekly for a quick bite to eat. Everyone is very friendly and the food is fast. The only thing that bothers me is the salsa and hot sauce bar. That seems like a germ fest waiting to happen. I always pick up my hot sauce bottle with a napkin and use it for the duration. Otherwise this place makes me leave content

Eh. It was ok. Prices were a little high.Didn't particularly blow my skirt up or anything. The hot-sauce bar was fun, but the food was fairly lackluster. Zona fresca is 2 blocks down on the same side of the street and their food tastes sooooooooo much better. Stick with Zona.

With so many Mexican "fast food" joints around town, I say you've gotta have something special to lure me to come back a second (or third, or fourth) time. Lime Fresh, unfortunately, is a joint that I'm on the borderline of trying it out a second time. The place (atmospherically) is really clean and well-designed. (It's just a short hop-n-a-skip from the better reviewed and always packed Zona Fresca.) Really nice and plentiful condiment section -- from mild to super-hot salsas (even a pineapple-corn one), limes, cilantro, etc. Front counter gal was a bit on the impatient side, as I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to try -- and, too, I didn't have my reading glasses, so that didn't help with my indecisiveness. She was pleasant, though, once I got my bearings together. Lime is one of those places where you order your meal, grab a seat, and they bring it to your table when it's ready. The gal who served our orders was very nice; cook was nice, as well. Everyone working there is very young -- at least compared to me! -- so I take into consideration that "old school" customer service is certainly gonna be lacking a bit, if not downright blah. Anyway, I ordered the California burrito (with chicken); my buddy ordered the fish taco trio. (I'll only review my dish; he can do his own.) They serve their orders in square tin boxes, which, I thought, looked pretty cool. The burrito was fairly large and thick; tortilla had a nice crustiness to it. The thing was packed with fluffy rice, and (what they say) homemade, organic, refried beans. That said, I thought I was eating a rice and bean burrito, as there was minimal chicken. In fact, after the first two bites with small chunks of chicken, it seemed that the rest was merely beans and rice! (No lettuce, tomatoes, or any sort of vegetable besides the beans.) The refried beans definitely tasted "organic": beans, yes; flavor or spice, no. The whole thing was, nonetheless, very filling, yet bland. The small portion of chips, on the other hand, were really crisp and tasty without being oily. The "WTF" hot sauce was, indeed, a scorcher: interesting flavor, although I'm not sure if I liked it -- flavor, not heat. (The heat was great!) The red-hot salsa was very, very tasty. Overall, I'd give Lime Fresh a two and one-half star rating if Yelp! had 1/2-star ratings. But, yes, I've definitely experienced better.... As I said, I might go back and give another dish a shot; however, with so many other places to choose from, maybe not.... (By the way, as a coda, my buddy said his fish tacos were "only okay." It looked real yummy, though, from my vantage.) [Post-Review Update] As it turns out, a Lime Fresh representative emailed me after reading my review and apologized for my sub-par experience. I felt that was very generous for him to write as it shows that the management cares about its customers. This is a good sign....

  • Ryan R.

The steak fajitas were the best I've had anywhere in years. They actually cook a real steak and cut it themselves, rather than relying on pre-cut foodservice meat. Fish tacos were OK, salsa options make it very worthwhile, but the chips were kinda stale at 3:30. I will definitely go again, but only during peak hours to try and get fresher chips.

Really nice Fresh Mex Food! You can see management really care about the establishment, they must have asked us several times hows everything! Def be back, Wish they had a location in my hometown!

It's not just another taco place. It is a fast, fresh, friendly, and clean place with a great laid back vibe. I had taco trio for $8.49 and a side of guacamole with a Corona Light--so tempting sitting there on ice at the front counter! I had steak and cheese, fried fish and chicken tacos all on soft corn tortillas.I played around with 4 of the homemade salsa and loved them all but pineapple was my favorite. I enjoyed everything. My only complaint was that the guacamole needed salt, but that can be a personal thing. I think the flavors were better than Zona Fresca and I really like that they heat up the corn tortillas--something lacking at Zona. I saw some people eating salads out of gigantic orange bowls- will try one of those next. Parking was a breeze!

Went there for a girls night out and had a blast! Great food and drinks, not too crowded, and friendly staff. Definitely will be back! Try the salsa bar we loved it. Not located near anything of interest within walking distance, but it was nice enough to keep us occupied for about three hours.

the southwest salad was great but the soup was to spicy for me. I will try again just not the soup. Great salsa bar too!

I stopped in today for lunch, figured it would be something similar to zona fresca which I love. Wanted to see what if any was the difference between the two. To start the area is larger than zf, more of an industrial look. Extremely loud music playing and with the large tiled open space made it even harder to have some sort of conversation. I ordered the three taco plate, and was asked by the lady at the register if I wanted a combo. I asked her if that includeda drink. To which I was informed that no it did not. The "combo" included chips. From reading the reviews about the salsa bar I had to get the chips and try some of their homade salsas. My taco plate was for three hard chicken tacos minus the sour cream to go. While I waited for my order I loaded up on pico de gallo, tomatillo, chipolte, and regular salsa. My order came up, was bagged and I left to get back to work. The price was comparable to zona fresca totalling about ten dollars. Although I do believe that zf gives you some rice and beans with your order and chips are not charged as extras. Anyways i got inyo my car drove away and discovered that I got three soft chicken tacos instead of hard. Not sure if this was a kitchen mistake or an ordering mistake since like I said it was rather loud inside the restaurant. Not a big deal though. I don't kind soft tacos. Had to start off with the salsas though. Un fortunately I thought they were a very very poor example of salsa. The pico de gallo lacked salt. The tomatillo tasted burnt, the regular salsa was pineapply ( there was a pineapple salsa at the bar and I'm not sure if they got mixed together some how). Didn't even taste the chipolte I was so disappointed. The tacos were mediocre at best. Very little cheese. And a flavor that reminded me of taco bell. I cannot recommend lime. It is an average Mexican restaurant. For my money I will always go to zona fresca from now on where the food is consistently good. Just my opinion

Every time we go to Lime Mexican Grill we can be sure that food is fresh, place is clean and staff is very friendly. Never a bad experience. strongly recommend to people who are looking to have inexpensive quality lunch (and might be a drink as well)

Just what I would want from a place like this. Really hit the spot. Yummy tacos and the salsa bar was very nice. The place is spotless and they were careful to keep the salsas under ice. Friendly service. The AC was a bit too cold and music too loud but otherwise a great place!

This place cannot seem to compete with Tijuana Flats or Zona, both which are comparable chains. The refried beans were a little dry and on the crusty side. The tacos were okay but they are stingy on the chicken. It was pretty pricy as 2 tacos and a side of rice and beans cost 11 bucks. The employees were friendly though which was good...

The food was not impressive. The salsa was flavorless and the portion was small. I don't eat much but after having a burrito here I had to go out and eat more food. The burrito was small for a small person like me and lacked flavor. I would rather go to Zona Fresca or La Bamba for Mexican food in FTL.

It's fast fresh and clean!! I have been 3 times and I've tried the naked burrito, it was good- just too much rice! Then I tried the taco salad- amazing BUT it just had a lot goin on- the need to cut the guacamole and sour cream portions in half on it, and the spicy ranch they serve with it AMAZING!!! Then I tried the soft tacos pretty good just in my opinion a step 2steps up from taco bell! The queso dip- a MUST try sooo delish!!! And since I'm a fan of ice cubes- yeah I know it's weird but- I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ice- very crunchy!!! Lol!!

In hindsight, I think this place deserves 3 stars as it is. The issues can be easily remedied and I'm looking forward to giving it another shot.

Even though they close in 30 minutes, the staff was friendly and nobody seemed offended by my late arrival. The food is well prepared and tastes exactly like it does when I visit in the afternoon.

First time here...tried placing an online order using my Android (Samsung phone), but the online-ordering feature doesn't have a mobile - friendly interface so I had to breakout my laptop. No big deal, but something they should work on to stay current, imo. Once I was able to get online, the ordering process was super easy! Looking forward to trying this place and will update my review after dinner... The Steak Fresca Quesadilla was great, as was the Tortilla Soup. The soup was almost like a chili...and very flavorful. The Queso Burrito Nude (sans tortilla) was ok...Very carb heavy considering there was no tortilla...though to Lime's credit the menu did say that there would be black beans amd cilantro rice with it. Next time I will probably try a salad instead. Overall, this was a good experience. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I look forward to trying different items from the menu and maybe the key lime pie. :)

I love this place! The food is always consistent and fresh, the service is great, and the sangria machine was working this week! We got fresh pico from the salsa bar. We went on Friday and I got crispy beef tacos. The tacos were incredibly fresh. The gentleman who brought them out was incredibly nice and offered to get us salsa. In addition we got a queso to split. It was fresh made and we had ample warm chips for dipping. My friend got chicken tacos and raved about how fresh the ingredients were. Lastly, I got a sangria. The last time I was there the machine was broken so I was glad it was working. It was a slight bit syrupy, but given everything else being perfect that was easy to overlook. Lime is great and this location always has excellent service. Go for WTF when they have 2-4-1 on sangria and $2 original tacos. You can't go wrong, especially for the price.

We go to this Lime location about once a month. The staff is outstanding, the place is clean and the food is real good. And unlike Zona Fresca we don't have to wait in a long line and then have no place to sit. This place is large, bright and has a great outdoor space. I had the steak salad, not sure what the menu name is but it was great. It has the " fried mix" which is lightly fried jalapeños, onion & green peppers. That really brought it up a notch. You can get this added to any order for cheaply. Also be sure to help yourself to the salsa bar which is clean and always stocked with several fresh salsas. I would recommend Lime to anyone.

Love this place for lunch!!!! The nachos and taco salad are awesome!!! Queso is fantastic!! If your looking for quiet, sit outside. Rather loud inside unfortunately. Staff is always very friendly and helpful! Love the salsa and hot sauce bar, something for everyone!!! Highly recommended.

I'm a lover of Fresh Mex, fast casual places. Lime is middle of the road for me; not first on my list, but still on the list. On my recent visit, I opted for their organic beans, cheese, rice burrito. Bottomless chips and all. The burrito is good, but missing something. They use a different variety of spices here, not sure if it is southwestern style, but different. Even their "signature" sour cream has spices that are not easily discerned. Their salsa bar is clean and plentiful. I love the fresh chopped cilantro and their fresh tomato salsa. They also have a hot sauce bar if that's your thing. We tried their cinnamon/sugar chips for dessert, only wish they were fried a little longer so they were crispy. Even though you order/pay at the counter, employees come by and check on you pretty often which is a nice touch.

My first visit to Lime Fresh was on a lunch break from holiday shopping. I ordered two meals: the Steak and Queso Tacos with fried jalapenos, onions, queso, and pico and the Chicken Lime Burrito with refried beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and salsa asada. A former vegetarian, I appreciate that this spot caters to veggie lovers. I am also very picky when it comes to meat, but I must say the pieces of steak were tender and flavorful. I probably wouldn't choose this one again (too fried and heavy for my liking) but enjoyed them nonetheless. The burrito was a cleaner dining choice, a good eat but somewhat bland. The salsa bar had an assortment of salsas (reds, a green tomatillo, and my favorite - the pineapple salsa) and a bucket of cilantro. While tasty, they were simple and unimpressive (the amazing mango salsa served up at the Whole Enchilada is hands down one of the best!). Ironically, given the name "Lime Fresh" I would have expected limes to be available or served alongside my mexi meal but there were none to be found. There's a spacious, covered outdoor patio if you want to dine al fresco. Service was friendly and my experience overall okay ... but with the deliciousness of Zona Fresca, the Fresh Enchilada, and even Chipotle in the neighborhood, I'm don't think that LFMG can compete. Worth a bite but wouldn't recommend.

I had just finished my second time eating here and it will be my last.We came for lunch on a very rainy Friday , the place was deserted.I had not really remembered the first time other than i ate outside , today that was not an option. I ordered the 8th street burrito, off the menu. To begin , the chips that it came with tasted stale, they should crunch , not bend when you bite them. They also seemed under salted, and i did ask for more thinking i had a bad batch , not the case. The burrito , was like gnawing on a piece of wood because of the cheap white gummy rice that it was made with. Additionally the bacon completely throws off the taste experience which i admit i saw and ordered. A really unsatisfying lunch, made more miserable by the crazy loud music. The place has concrete floors and floor to ceiling windows, all hard surfaces. The unpleasant 'DUDE music' blasting insanely , it was like eating in a bowling ally. I could not wait to leave, as there is Zona Fresca, and a number of Mexican places to eat, this is a definite ADIOS AMIGOS!

Not bad on the pricing for food and a late lunch. I believe they are in the runnings of beating Chipotle, and fight with Moe's southwest grill. The only thing that's bad is they are over priced on guacamole a bit for a small amount... But then again other than that they're awesome!

I've only been to a Lime Fresh years ago in Plantation and wasn't very impressed. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to cave in and go to the Fort Lauderdale location near my house. I was really happy with this first visit at this locale. The cashier was super friendly and gave me her personal suggestions on what to order. I ordered the steak classic quesadilla and a surfer taco, which comes with either grilled or fried Mahi (I went with the grilled) and it was delicious! A girl and a guy came by to check to see how everything was and to ask if I needed a refill. I'd definitely recommend this place hands down! Great food, friendly service and feel free to tip as they go beyond beyond the regular fast food service.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
